In TS version 17.0 or newer, design parameters are displayed with same Y/Z axis convention as in ROBOT. For example, buckling factors KY, buckling length LY, buckling diagram Y. With older TS versions there is no change, as convention is still different.

Hints & Tips
Set the following environment variables in user.ini for for the Robot link in order to receive forces and changed profiles from Robot:
set XS_AD_GET_RESULTS_FORCES=TRUE (the default is FALSE)
set XS_AD_GET_RESULTS_DESIGN_VALUES=TRUE (the default is TRUE)
Troubleshooting
If you get an error message after executing the analysis calculation, please check your ROBOT Millennium licenses for the Robot Open API activation (Robot Office Analysis >> Tools 21.0 >> Authorization - settings >> Report)

Problems with Robot 2009 SP1 & SP2
Transferring the information from Robot to Tekla Structures is not working correctly when using Robot 2009 SP1 or SP2. According to the information exchange report it seems that information between these two software has been transferred correctly, but when you investigate the objects in Tekla Structures more closely you will notice that the information was not updated correctly. No error message dialogs nor log file entries are displayed, the only indicator of the problem is that “transferred” information is missing in the Tekla Structures model.
Solution: use Robot 2009 without the service packs or use some other version of Robot. Tekla Structures product development unit is communication with Robot developers in order to fix the problem.
General - Special considerations when loading the 64 bit version of Tekla Structures.
In some cases the IFC and cis/2 A&D links are not loaded onto your machine. As a solution for this case we have built a separate installation for loading these links. Normally if you install the 32 bit version or have loaded the A&D links from an older version of Tekla Structures then these links are available.
We have had problems installing and using AnalysisExport1.exe since version 16.0, so now Tekla Structures AnalysisExport1.exe can be installed with a separate installer.
Some details:
User needs to install x86 or x64 version depending of which TS version you uses. Difference is where registry data is written in Windows Registry.
AnalysisExport 1.0 works with all TS versions (at least TS 15.0 onwards)
AnalysisExport is installed always to 32-bit ProgramFiles folder and user cannot choose the folder
AnalysisExport brings CIS/2, IFC2x2 and IFC3x2 available in Tekla Structures Analysis Model properties, Analysis application drop down list.
