Custom profiles are not read from firm folder

Question:
When I create parametric profiles using .clb files they are not read from my firm folder, what to do?

Answer:
The .clb-files are read from the XS_INP location and not from the Firm folder directly.

If you want to include the .clb-files in the firm folder, first create a new folder in your firm folder to store are the .clb-files.
Make sure you copy the component.clb from the Environment/Common/INP in the new file location and update the component library in the file.

Now that all files are in place you can update the advanced option XS_INP in the .ini-files.
Make sure the original INP location is kept and use a semicolon to at an additional INP location.

Example:  
set XS_INP=%XSDATADIR%\environments\common\inp\;C:\Firm 

Note: most environments read the INP location from the common environment. If there is an INP folder in the environment is mostly reads it from there. Check the env_<environment_name>.ini to see where the XS_INP is referring to.

Restart Tekla Structures and you can now use the profiles defined in your firm folder.
