Steps to Export a Drawing using the Handrail Laser settings
These instructions will tell you how to create new drawings for the same handrail assemblies you already have without affecting your current drawings.
Note that handrails can be created in various ways, and these instructions might not apply to your case. In that case, contact your local helpdesk for support.
Go to the warehouse and download the "Laser Overlay Export for Handrails" package to get the files needed. You can find a direct link here.

How can I test whether a client computer can connect to a server computer?
The following steps have been tested on Windows 10.
1. Start PowerShell on the client computer.
2. If you do not know the IPv4 address of the server computer, you can request it by typing ping -4 [SERVER_NAME].

Answer: When you run a clash check using Tekla Structures 2019i, you can check the model for duplicate and overlapping welds and for clashes that occur between welds and other objects such as parts and bolts. From the File menu > Settings > Options > Clash check. Ensure Exact solid weld clash check is set to Yes. Run the clash check, Tekla Structures will now check the welds against other welds, against bolts, and against the real geometry of the part profiles including roundings.
Question: When inquiring on an object, my Part Position, and Assembly Position sections both show up as the main assembly's position number. How do I make the Inquire object dialog also display the part position?

A. From 2017i the template editor (v 3.50) adds attributes that did not exist in earlier versions. The template will not work in Tekla Strctures 2017 unless these attributes are removed from the template.
If recently created templates are not appearing in drawings it may be because the template contains attributes that are not compatible with the version of Tekla Structures you are using. To check if this is so, open the
Question: I would like to replace the numeric value of the dimension with a numeric prefix or a numeric postfix. Why can't a prefix or a postfix be a plain number?
Answer: This is to make sure you accidentally wouldn't confuse manually added values with the actual numeric dimension values. The prefix value cannot be plain numbers, and cannot end with a number when the numeric value of the dimension is visible. The postfix cannot be plain numbers, and the it cannot start with a number when the numeric value of the dimension is visible.

Answer: Because there are different approaches to creating dawings in Tekla Structures, there are also several ways to ensure that all drawings are created.
