Question:
Why there is difference in ID to ID dimensions of the tubes between Tekla Structures and HGG post-processing software?

Answer:
The length appearing in HGG post processing software is depending upon the 3D geometry and not based on Tekla Solid, so it is accurate.
The way Tekla models round solids is by series of segmented facets creating round surface.

The differences in dimensions is due to the chord tolerance variable (XS_CHORD_TOLERANCE_FOR_TUBE_SEGMENTS) values which affects the solid creation and thus drawing lengths every time.

If you really want to get close to similar dimensions then you need to enter smaller value in above variable by little trial and error but that will make model unnecessary heavy so we don't suggest that.
