Use of Trackballs for Tekla Structures

Question:
What is the difference between a Trackball and a new mouse? Can we still rely on the Trackball for Tekla Structures? Does it need a special driver to function well with Tekla Structures? 

Answer: 
In general, Trackball and mouse are both belong to the pointing devices category. A trackball is just as accurate as a mouse and more so than a trackpad. Early graphics designers preferred using trackballs over mice But for using Tekla Structure, it shouldn't be that of big difference. So it should be working fine.  Both regular mouse and trackballs are treated the same.
