Model on disk is corrupted

I cannot open my model. Instead, I receive this error: “Fatal: Model on disk is corrupted, use the latest backup model. Please run check disk on your drive”. What should I do?

  1. If you are using Tekla Structures 19.0 Final, upgrade to the latest Service Release. This might be enough to solve your problem.
  2. If this does not help, contact your local support for possible repair regardless of your maintenance status. We might be able to fix the model.
  3. In some cases, it is not possible to restore the data of a corrupt model. These cases are typically caused by a hardware error, such as a broken hard drive or a network error. In this case, use the latest backup model. Run at least the disk diagnostics tools provided by Windows on the drive that contained the model, and prepare for a future complete failure. We cannot be sure that the problem is in the hard drive, so it is probably wise to change the disk if the diagnostics show problems.
