I cannot open my model. Instead, I receive this error: “Fatal: Model on disk is corrupted, use the latest backup model. Please run check disk on your drive”. What should I do?
- If you are using Tekla Structures 19.0 Final, upgrade to the latest Service Release. This might be enough to solve your problem.
- If this does not help, contact your local support for possible repair regardless of your maintenance status. We might be able to fix the model.
- In some cases, it is not possible to restore the data of a corrupt model. These cases are typically caused by a hardware error, such as a broken hard drive or a network error. In this case, use the latest backup model. Run at least the disk diagnostics tools provided by Windows on the drive that contained the model, and prepare for a future complete failure. We cannot be sure that the problem is in the hard drive, so it is probably wise to change the disk if the diagnostics show problems.
