Inserting logo into Drawing Template

How do I insert a logo into a Drawing Template in Tekla Structures 2019?

Answer:
The file structure has changed considerably in Tekla Structures 2019 compared to older versions. The following article explains how to set up your drawing template with your company logo in this version.
 

Solution

Save your logo

1. Save your company logo into the following location: C:\TeklaStructures\2019\Environments\UK\General\symbols

Edit the file location 

1. Double click on any template in any drawing
2. Click on Edit template in Template Editor

3. Go to Options > Preferences > File Locations
4. Remove the two dots and a slash ..\ from both sides in the Symbols, pictures (*) location, as highlighted below
5. Click OK to confirm

Insert your company logo

1. In the Tekla Template Editor, delete the existing logo from the first box
2. Go to Insert > Picture
3. Select the top directory path
4. Select your logo
5. Click OK
6. Insert the logo into the first blank box
7. Click Save
8. Close and reopen the drawing, or highlight and right-click> refresh the template while the drawing is opened. The company logo will be visible
