Inquire Object: Part Position / Assembly Position

Question: When inquiring on an object, my Part Position, and Assembly Position sections both show up as the main assembly's position number. How do I make the Inquire object dialog also display the part position?
Keep in mind that, as is the case with any other numbering Advanced option change, you will need to perform numbering after deleting the Value.

Answer: By default, Tekla only displays the Assembly position because the Advanced option XS_USE_ASSEMBLY_NUMBER_FOR is set to MAIN_PART, which means that it will always assign the assembly or cast unit number to the main part of an assembly or cast unit.
To change that outcome, the value must be left blank. This will allow you to get a part number, regardless of whether the assembly contains only one main part or several parts:
