These CISC profiles can be found on the Tekla Warehouse.

Both the USIMP and USMET Profile Catalogs include standard AISC shapes. They do not include any CISC shapes. Many lis files have been created of the CISC profiles that you can import into a US catalog so that you work with CISC profiles.

NOTE: Not all AISC profiles have CISC equivalents and vice versa. Therefore, after you import the profiles, you may have some profiles that were replaced, some that remain the same and some that are new.

During the Importing process you should use the Replace option for all profiles.

After you have imported the CISC profiles they will be among the US profiles. For example, only the M4X6 is a CISC profile. The other 3 are AISC.

All CISC profiles have been tagged in the lis files with a User attribute named Canadian Profile. This UA is the only way for you to distinguish a CISC profile from an AISC profile.

If you need to separate the CISC profiles from the AISC ones, just create a new Rule group.

Then define the Rule group accordingly. The red box shows the required criteria to isolate the CISC profiles, and the blue boxes depend on what shape and prefix you select.

All profiles that match the criteria you have defined will be included in the Rule group  you create.

The red box shows the CISC profiles and the blue boxes show the remaining AISC profiles. Notice the M4X6 is with the CISC profiles while the other 3 M4s are with the AISC profiles.

If you want you can continue creating more Rule groups to organize the CISC profiles.
