How to prep the bottom of a column inside 1047

When you need to prep the bottom of a column, you can do this using a custom component inside the system component, U.S. Base plate (1047).

First, you need to open up the Weld Prep Beam custom component available in both the US Imperial and US Metric environments. 

1. Make the desired changes to this custom component.
2. Save your changes accordingly. Then close this dialog box.

Then inside component 1047, go to the Parameters tab and do the following;

3. Set the Component field to the Weld Prep Beam custom component you just modified. Then in the Attributes field, type in the name you saved in step 2 above.
4. Set the Input option to Column + Base.

Either Apply the above setting to a new column or Modify a location in your model where you've already added component 1047.
