How to implement Custom Step v2 on stairs

The component Custom Step V2 is designed to work with the stair component (S71). You can also add the Custom Step V2 independently without using the stair component. Both methods are shown below.

Manually inserting Custom Step v2.
1. Create the stair stringers and draw a construction line at the location where the nosing line of the tread will be located.

2. Double click on custom Step v2 and set the type of tread you need. For this example, chose Grating from the dropdown at the top and apply the settings.

3. Follow the prompts at the bottom. Looking up the stair pick the right stringer as the primary part.
4. Pick the left stringer as the secondary part.
5. Pick the right end of the construction line as the first point.
6. Pick the left end of the construction line as the final point. The result will appear as is shown below.

Adding Custom Step v2 to Stair (S71)
1. Double click on component Custom Step v2. 
2. Click the dropdown at the top and load Checkered_Plate.
3. Change the plate width to what you need. For this example, make the width 11".
4. Save these parameters with the name 11_CheckPlt, for example.
5. Close Custom Step v2.

6. Double click on component Stairs (S71)
7. Click on the Stair setup tab.
8. Change the dropdown for Step type to Steps. This switches the component to use the information on the Steps tab.
9. Click on the Steps tab.
10. Change the dropdown image at the bottom from the grip strut to plate.
11. Set the information for the Custom tread to the one you created, as shown below.

12. Insert the stair as usual, and the custom tread will be inserted as shown below.
