and click either Assembly Drawingdrawing that shows fabrication information for a basic or a nested assembly, including bolts and welds, and that is generally used at the workshop
Assembly drawings show how parts are located in an assembly. They contain the parts of the assembly presented in one or more views.
or Single-Part Drawingdrawing that shows fabrication information for one part and that is generally used at the workshop
depending on which you wish to create.

Generate a new drawing of your selected assembly/part. You can repeat this action as many times as needed, each Sheet number value creates a new drawing which appears in the Drawing Listlist of drawings that provides information about the drawings in a particular model and that is used for searching, managing, and printing the drawings
In the drawing list, the user can, for example, search, open, update, freeze, lock, and delete drawings. The drawing list can also be used to display the associations between the drawings and the parts in the model.
Drawing list is used in Tekla Structures until version 2018. See document manager.
Each drawing can be opened independently and its settings changed to suit, giving a different looking drawing for each copy of your assembly/part.
Examples of use:
- Large truss assemblies (showing main assembly, then other drawings showing details).
- Single part drawings (showing part & another drawing showing wrap around view).
Select the Drawing & Reports tab, click Drawing List. Right click the drawing you want to copy, navigate to Create Drawings and click Copy to new sheet.
The copied drawing now appears in the Drawing List.
Each drawing can be opened independently and its settings changed to suit, giving a different looking drawing for each copy produced.
