Problem: I can't find Contextual Toolbar. It's nowhere on the screen to be seen.
Solution: First, make sure you have Contextual Toolbar visible in Tekla Structures. To do this, Go to the File menu > Settings > Switches > Contextual Toolbar. Click the check box if it's unselected. If the check box is checked but the contextual toolbar is not visible you might have accidently pinned it on a second screen, for example. In this case, clear the contextual toolbar check box and select it again. Then, select a part to see if the contextual toolbar appears.
If the problem persists, go to Windows Registry Editor. You need to have admin rights to your computer to do this. Write regedit to the Windows start menu and in Registry Editor go to Computer > HKEY_CURRENT_USER > SOFTWARE > Trimble > TeklaStructures > <insert your TS version here> > Settings.
Here you should find following settings:
Exit Tekla Structures before modifying these settings. Then, modify ContextualToolbarSettings.IsMinimized and ContextualToolbarSettings.IsPinned to ”False”. Next, open Tekla Structures again and see if you can now find the Contextual Toolbar.
