Question:
How can I apply a change to a selected set of components?

Answer: 
Enter a connection code on the General tab of Properties for all the components whose value is to be changed.

Then create a select filter with a condition that the component has this connection code.

Double click on a connection to open connection properties.
  1. Ensure effect in modify switch is set to un-tick all boxes in the Properties dialog.
  2. Make changes as required.
  3. Ensure "ignore other types" is set
  4. Ensure select filter is set
  5. Window area
  6. Click "Modify"
