Cannot find an installed version of Tekla Structures when inserting content from Tekla Warehouse

You may get a notification message saying “There are no installed Tekla Structures versions that are compatible with this extension version” when trying to use the Insert into model option available for the content in Tekla Warehouse. This can happen even if you have installed a version of Tekla Structures that is supported by the extension.

This most likely means that the file you are trying to insert is a .tsep file that has been incorrectly categorized as model content when it was uploaded to Tekla Warehouse. The Insert into model option is used for model content files, and it’s available when adding files using the Files from disk selection. However, .tsep files are categorized as applications, so instead of selecting Files from disk, the uploader should have selected Application.

The solution is to use the Just download option and install the downloaded file like an application.
