Welded to top flange plate chamfer

This package will install a plugincomponent that is developed using Tekla Open API

Plugin is a .dll file and loaded inside Tekla Structures process.

Plugins can be started from the applications and components catalog.

'Welded to top flange extension'. This is extension to the exsting system plugin 'Welded to top flange (147)' and modify the plugin created fin-plate(1) part that represents a flat structure

(1) In some contexts, for example in analysis, the term plate object may be used to refer to plates.

(2) plate that represents a steel structure

(2) Plate is mainly used as a connection piece or as a floor plate.

with additional parameters.

How to locate :

After installation the below plugin is available in the Applications and components catalogcatalog that contains all system components and custom components, and the macros and applications

The term component catalog is used in Tekla Structures until version 21.1.

How to apply:

Click the above plugin icon in the Applications & components side panel and then select the already modelled connection 'Welded to top flange (147)' in which you want to apply this plugin.

The following parameter are included, which are not available in the original system connection 'Welded to top flange (147)'.

Parameter Description
  Defines the plate top offset. User can define the distance between top of the plate and primary member flange bottom.
  Define the Gap. User can modify the gap between the plate and seconadaty member web.
  Define the type of chamfer for the plate at top secondary member side.
  Defines the radius for the chamfer type
