Purpose and description

Use the Volume of bolt holes component to calculate the volume of the bolt holes that affect a part and to write them into a UDAobject property created by the user in order to widen the range of predefined object properties

User-defined attributes are used when the predefined object properties are not sufficient but more properties are needed. For example, comment, locked, and erection status are user-defined attributes.

file. You can see the values in the UDA file when you inquire the part. You can use that UDA in reports to calculate the real volume of the part, and also the weight. The name of the UDA is BOLT_HOLEsmall hollow open throughout a part or assembly that is usually used for fastening parts with bolts or other such objects

Hole is created in the same way as bolts and hole properties are defined in the bolt properties.
