Transition Duct

The Duct and Plate Work tool allows user to create the rectangular and trapezoidal duct with 4 plates of same or different material and finish.

How to Locate

Installers are available at Duct and Plate Work
After installation, the ‘Transition Duct’ plugin is available in the component catalog group 'Duct and Plate Work'.

 

On double click you will get the duct part dialog box in which you can edit the various fields including Types, plate made up, transition set out sizes, offsets, materials etc.
  

Usage

Click the icon in the component catalog.
Select the two points between which you want to add duct.
 
Then duct is created at specified location with default or specified settings.

Parameters
You can find options to modify
1) Type (Shape of Duct – Rectangular, Trapezoidal)
2) Plate made up
3) Transition set out (Orientation)
4) Thickness
5) Offsets
6) Corner setback
7) Corner Setout
8) Dimensions of duct and cuttings
  
Parts
You can find options to modify
1) Material
2) Finishes
3) Class
4) Numbers
  
Position
The position of the duct could be adjusted using this tab along with the rotation.
