Start End Symbols macros
Create Start End Symbols
AVAILABLE IN: DRAWINGS
This macro will add a symbol to the start end of designated assemblies in an open drawing.
How to Control What Gets a Symbol
To designate which assemblies in a drawing get a symbol, you can edit the StartEnd_Names.txt file located in the macros/drawing directory. Below is what the default file looks like. Simply add the name of the assembly into this file before you run the macro. For example, if you have a beam in your model named RAFTER, you will want to add this name to this file exactly as you have it in the model.
Delete Start End Symbols
AVAILABLE IN: DRAWINGS
Notice in the drawing below that Black symbols were added to the start end of the beams (by the Create Start End Symbols macro). These symbols can easily be deleted from the drawing using this macro when they are no longer needed.
Starting in v21.1, the above Macros are available in all US Environment Roles
