Slope triangle

Slope triangle is a drawing tool which helps you to create a slope triangle diagram to indicate the slope of an inclined part in the drawing.

How to locate

Slope triangle will be available in the component catalogcatalog that contains all system components and custom components, and the macros and applications

The term component catalog is used in Tekla Structures until version 21.1.

when you open the drawing.

For example, profile catalog and shape catalog are catalogs.



  1. Click the component catalog icon.
  2. Click on the sloped beam (or) slopped line (or) select interrupt for pick two points option.
  3. Pick the insertion point for the triangle.

Base value types


Slope triangle values can be represented in three ways:
