Selection order:

Select the rebar group(s) to be marked.
Pick point P1.
Pick point P2.

Point P1 is the position of the leader line.

Point P2 is the position of the mark.

(In the Geometry tab image below, the points P1 and P2 to be picked are displayed in lists of the available mark options, see tab Geometry.)

Geometry tab

Option

Description

Define the shape of the rebar mark. In the following options, the terms Leader line and Mark line are used. These are displayed in the following images:

· Leader line perpendicular to the rebars

· Mark line parallel to the rebars

· Leader line perpendicular to the rebars

· Mark line also perpendicular to the rebars

· Leader line perpendicular to the rebars

· Mark line is horizontal

· Leader line perpendicular to the rebars

· Mark line is vertical

· Leader line direction is defined by an angle relative to the rebars. The angle can be entered in box A2.

· Mark line direction is defined by an angle relative to the horizontal line. The angle can be entered in box A1.

Marks tab

On this tab, you can define the content for the rebar marks. The content of the rebar marks is divided in three separate marks: Mark 1, Mark 2 and Mark 3. The following image shows the position of each mark within the entire rebar mark:

Available elements	In this list you can select the desired information (for the rebars) to be displayed in the mark such as grade, diameter and cc distances: Image
Elements in mark	List of the selected information which will be displayed in the mark.
Text properties	Select the text properties in which the mark must be displayed. The available options are the settings which can be defined in Text properties: Image
Create	Define whether the mark should be created or not. The options are: · Yes · No
Rebar pos / Text prop	Define whether and how the rebar position must be displayed in the mark. The options are:
	No		Image
	Before main mark		Image
	Behind main mark		Image
	The text properties for the rebar position are defined in the same way as for the main mark.
Units Only available for the following mark content: - Length - cc - cc min - cc max - cc exact - cc target - (Length itemized) - Length itemized	Define the units. The options are:

Image Only available for the following mark content: - Number	Total number in rebar group			Displays the total number for the rebar group, regardless of the number of the physical visible rebars in the drawing.
	Number displayed in view			Only displays the number of visible rebars in the drawing view.

Lines and symbols tab

On this tab, you can define the generation and layout of the lines and the symbols for the rebar mark.

The following options apply for the Visualised rebars of the rebar group:

Image	Define the Color and Line type for the Distribution line and the Leader line.
Image	Define the generation of the symbols/lines for the dimension line. You can do this here for the visible bars. The options are: Image Examples:

Image	Define the color and the line type for the lines.
Image	Define the used symbol. You can use existing symbols in Tekla Structures by selecting a symbol file and a symbol number. Example: Image Image
Image	Define the color and the size for the possible used symbols.

The following options apply for Not visualised rebars and First and last rebar. These are applicable if the option bar in the middle of group is set in Drawing reinforcement properties:

Image	Define if symbols/lines should be applied for Not visualised rebars or First and last rebar. Option Not visualised rebars: Image Option First and last rebar: Image
Image	Define the generation of the symbols/lines for the dimension line. The options are: Image
Image	Define the color and the line type for the lines.
Image	Define the used symbol. You can use existing symbols in Tekla Structures by selecting a symbol file and a symbol number.
