PEB Member Updater

The PEB Member updater plugin allows you to modify the PEB Members after applying a PEB Connection at the ends.

How to locate

Installers are available at Pre-Engineered Building Tools for Tekla Structures version 21.0 and above.
For older versions, download at Pre-Engineered Building Tools old installers

After installation, the PEB Member updater plugin is available in the Application & Components.
 

Usage

Apply connections to PEB members. Select the PEB members that require a geometry update because of new PEB connection end conditions. PEB members are modified depending on whether the particular PEB connection allows member updates. This tool is increases efficiency. Without the tool, you always need to double-click each PEB member component, and modify them after applying connections.

TIP

This plugin is run with a single click as it does not require any input from the dialog box. When no PEB Member is selected and you click the plugin, it updates all PEB members in the model. For more efficiency, use appropriate selection filters when running the plugin.
Note: From TSEP version 1.2 onwards, no need to update the member if connection is modified, associated members are updated in this case. But while inserting and deleting, associated members need to update by PEB member updater or update by double click and modify members.
