This macrosaved series of actions that includes instructions for a program

Macros are located in the applications and components catalog. They are recorded or created manually and stored as .cs file in a folder defined with the advanced option XS_MACRO_DIRECTORY.

Macros can, for example, be used for creating drawings or reports.

Macros are sometimes used to run an application.

will run the FabTrol ABM List report. It will not open up the report for viewing. Instead the report will be created in the model's Report folder, ready to import into FabTrol.

Starting in v21.1, the above Macros are available in all US Environment Roles

  • Engineering (hidden)

  • Precast Detailing (hidden)

  • Steel Detailing

In 21.1, the report does open up for viewing, contrary to what is stated above. For the Assembly Parts List, the process is very slow, even for a small model.

I ran both the macros in 21.1 and neither show the report(s) that are created. If i open the report list and run an individual report then yes it does show, which is intended unless the option is turned off.

As for the speed, it seems to run fine for me but it could just be the job i am using. If you want to diagnose this further please send a test model to support @ tekla.support.us@trimble.com
