Duggans Eaves Beam to Stanchion - Parameters tab

Use the Parameters tab in the Duggan Steel Eaves Beam to Stanchion Properties panel to control how the connecting members are defined within Tekla Structures.

Option	Description	Default	Other
Group	This sets the class that all parts will be included in.	The default setting is 99.
Plate Dimension to EB	This currently has no effect.
Secondary end gap	If two eaves beams are selected in the application of the joint then this value specifies the gap between the two eaves beams. Each eaves beam will be cut back half the distance from the centre of the fixing bracket.	The default setting cuts each eaves beam back 5mm from the center line.	Image Image
Connecting Profile  (Left, Right)	This specifies which side to attach the connecting profile. The side is taken looking along the profile from the stanchion to the eaves beams.	The default is set to Left.	Image Image Left Right
Eaves Cleat  (Bolted, Welded)	This specifies whether the eaves beam cleat should be welded to the stanchion or bolted. If the bolted option is chosen then a plate will be added to the fixing bracket in order to allow a bolted connection to the stanchion. Otherwise the fixing bracket will be welded directly to the stanchion.	The default is set to Bolted.
Gable Overhang	This specifies the overhang dimension for a gable end only. The dimension is measured from the centre of the cleat.	The default setting is 0.
