Duggans Cold Rolled Cleat - Parameters tab

Use the Parameters tab in the Duggan Steel Cold Rolled Cleat Properties panel to control how the connecting members are defined within Tekla Structures.

Option	Description	Default	Other
Free dist Primary to L Profile	This is used to specify the clearance between the cleats defined in the joint and the primary member.	If no value is entered here then the clearance will default to 0.	Image
Secondary Member Cutback	This determines the position to which the end of the secondary members are fitted, measured from the extremities of the primary member. If 0 value is entered here then the clearance will be set to zero. Any other value entered here will be added to the default value of 5mm, Example "1" would equal 6mm.	The default will give a minimum clearance of 5mm from the primary which will be rounded to give a whole value when measured from the centre-line of the primary.	Image
Cleat Finish	This specifies the finish of the cleat. Note that a galvanised finish will be used if the string entered here is prefixed with the characters “GALV”.	The default is set to Empty.
Put cleats on (Left, Right, Both)	This specifies the positions where cleats are to be applied. The position is determined relative to the first secondary that is picked, looking along the secondary and into the joint.	The default is set to Left.	Image Image Image Left Right Both
Single Gauge Bolt (No, Yes)	This specifies whether to use a single line of bolts or a pair of bolts.	The default is set to No.
