Drawing Tools macro



You can use drawing tools to edit and finalize drawings.

With the drawing tools you can:

  • Align drawing objects

  • Create fillets

  • Create straight and round chamfers

  • Copy with offsets

  • Create, delete and update moment connection symbols

  • Create, delete and update cut lines

Using the Moment Connection Symbol tool

Whenever you have a Moment Connection, change Moment Connection Symbol attribute (on the End Conditions tab) to Yes. Then in the drawing run the Drawing tool macrosaved series of actions that includes instructions for a program

Macros are located in the applications and components catalog. They are recorded or created manually and stored as .cs file in a folder defined with the advanced option XS_MACRO_DIRECTORY.

Macros can, for example, be used for creating drawings or reports.

Macros are sometimes used to run an application.

and click the Moment Connection symbol button in the Drawing tools toolbar.

Next select a part or view where the Moment Connection Symbol attribute has been set to Yes and then click the Create button in the Create Moment Connection Symbol dialog. A MC Symbol ► will be created at the end of any part which had this attribute set to Yes in your selected view.
