Built-up C Beam (Custom Part)

The Built-up C-beam custom partcomponent for creating a part that cannot be created by using any existing part command or part profile

Typically, custom parts are used to create parts that have a complex composition. For example, castellated beams and sandwich panels are often created as custom parts.

allows user to create the built up channel beam made with plates.

How to Locate

 

Installers are available at Built-up Custom Parts
After installation, the ‘Built-up C beam’ custom part is available in the component catalogcatalog that contains all system components and custom components, and the macros and applications

The term component catalog is used in Tekla Structures until version 21.1.

Usage

The user has to pick the start point and end point and the built up C beam will be created.

This plug-incomponent that is developed using Tekla Open API

Plug-in is a .dll file and loaded inside Tekla Structures process.

Plug-ins can be started from the applications and components catalog.

Parameters - Plate(1) part that represents a flat structure

(1) In some contexts, for example in analysis, the term plate object may be used to refer to plates.

(2) plate that represents a steel structure

(2) Plate is mainly used as a connection piece or as a floor plate.

Prefix

All available plate profile prefixes are displayed.
Required prefix can be selected. (e.g. PL, FL, PLT )

Parts

 
 

You can enter part properties in this tab page. Numberingprocess of assigning position numbers to parts, cast units, assemblies, or reinforcement

In Tekla Structures, the position numbers assigned in the numbering are shown in marks and templates, for example.

properties and Name can be entered for all parts seperately. You have an option to enter same values for Material / Finish / Classpart property that groups parts according to identifiers given by the user

The identifiers of classes are usually numbers. Classes can be used for defining the color of parts in the model, for example. Class does not influence the numbering of model objects.

At Depth: Middle, Front and Behind

Option is avaialble to adjust boundry center by selecting 'Yes' from dropdown.
