Goal and description

This applicationpart of Tekla Structures functionality that is developed in order to extend the capability of Tekla Structures but that is not included in the Tekla Structures installation

allows different operations on groups of bolts:
You can:

  • Convert bolt groups into cuts
  • Convert the round cuts into groups of bolts
  • Explodeto ungroup the objects that are parts of another object or a component

In Tekla Structures, it is possible to explode components, cast units, assemblies, bent plates, parts that have attached parts, and drawing shapes and plugins.

The exploded objects cannot be reverted back to the original group.

    bolt groups
  • Combine bolt groups
  • Make a holesmall hollow open throughout a part or assembly that is usually used for fastening parts with bolts or other such objects

Hole is created in the same way as bolts and hole properties are defined in the bolt properties.

(or group of holes) in the opposite side
  • Create bolt for each part
