Release Notes - Tekla Structures 2020 SP7
2020 SP7: New features and improvements
In addition to fixes, Tekla Structures 2020 SP7 delivers useful improvements: changes in sharing pour units, better coverage for texts in PDF reference models, new control for forcing IFCfile format commonly used in BIM that facilitates software interoperability
IFC is an open specification developed by the IAI (International Alliance for Interoperability).
Model can be exported into an IFC file.
object category in IFC2x3 export, updated material appearances in Trimble Connect Visualizertool that creates photorealistic renderings of the model or selected model objects and can be used for taking screenshots and creating animations that demonstrate the design and build options of the model
Trimble Connect Visualizer shows the model’s material types and sets it in a scene.
, and improvements in concrete components.
Defect number | Development area | Description |
---|---|---|

TTSD-42175 | Drawings |
A reinforcing mark template in a drawing now works correctly for rebar sets. |
TTSD-42155 | Drawings |
If moving a view from a drawing to another drawing does not succeed, the view stays in the original drawing. Earlier, the view was removed from the original drawing. |
