Fixes

Defect number Development area Description
TSAC-2899 Concrete components Wall panel reinforcement now creates meshes with the correct catalog name. Previously, the catalog name of meshes created by the tool was always 'custom mesh'.

TSAC-4041 Concrete components Braced girder (88): Previously, Tekla Structures could stop working when creating braced girders on slabs with openings. This has now been fixed.
TSAC-4055 Concrete components Edge and corner reinforcement (62): You can now create secondary edge bars with offset on the Edge bars tab.
TSAC-4188 Concrete components Rectangular concrete reinforcement (83): Intermediate links were incorrectly created when the disabled stirrup sizes had certain values. This happened when the stirrups were created as one rebar group. This has now been fixed.
TSAC-4189 Concrete components Corbel reinforcement (81): The component now reinforces the console on each side of the column, regardless of the column rotation.
TSAC-4277 Concrete components Embedded anchors (8): The warning message of missing materials is no longer showed through a Windows message box. Instead, it is printed in the Windows console.
Another improvement is that only the parts that determine the COG (center of gravity) are checked for valid materials.
You can select the parts that determine the COG on the Placement tab, with the option: Selected part, Assembly, or Assembly without steel parts
TSAC-2052 Steel components Metsec Cold rolled sleeve joint (102): The Force stay holes option has been updated to only create a singular hole. Previously, it created a pair of holes.
TSAC-2383 Steel components Cast-in plate (1069): You can now delete studs or anchors using the Delete option on the Studs/Anchors tab.
TSAC-3977 Steel components Cage ladder (S60): You can now define the rotation of the rail bars on the Parameters tab. You can also define the vertical and horizontal offset of bottom supports on the Supports tab.
TSAC-4030 Steel components Stairs (S71): Previously, bottom stringers were created with incorrect length when horizontal offset of steps was specified. This has now been fixed.
TSAC-4179 Steel components Two sided end plate (142) & End plate (144): Previously, the horizontal offset of bolts also affected the position of galvanizing holes. This has now been fixed.
TSAC-4222 Steel components Two sided end plate (143): Previously, the extra length of box primary bottom bolts was incorrect. This has now been fixed.
TSAC-4273 Steel components Partial stiff end plate (65): Previously, when the bolt spacing was specified asymmetrically, the holes in the shim plates were created incorrectly. This has now been fixed.

TSAC-4306 Steel components Base plate (1042): Previously, when you specified to create anchor rods as custom components and did not define the thickness of the cast plate, the component was not created. This has now been fixed.
TSAC-4324 Steel components Welded column with stiffeners (128): Previously, the gaps between the stiffeners and main part flanges were not applied correctly. This has now been fixed.
TSAC-4380 Import, export, interoperability Export Unitechnik (79): Previously, the Tekla Structures version option for the File creator (UT 6.0) setting was not working correctly. This has now been fixed.
TTSD-19700 Import, export, interoperability

The value of the user-defined attribute SDNF_MEMBER_NUMBER is no longer copied with the related part, so the resulting identifier is now unique. Note that it is still important that only one user in the model performs the SDNF export, so that you can prevent two objects from getting the same identifier.

TTSD-35611 Import, export, interoperability Tekla Structures sometimes crashed when you tried to save a multi-user model with the compact view in the Applications and Components catalog. This has now been fixed.
TTSD-36623 Import, export, interoperability Objects are now imported from locked reference models when you refresh the reference models, provided that the XS_REFRESH_ALSO_LOCKED_REFERENCE_MODELS advanced option is set to TRUE. In addition, Hole Reservation Manager now updates voids in locked reference models correctly.
TTSD-36956 Import, export, interoperability IFC reference model assembly selection sometimes selected too much. This has now been fixed.
TTSD-37030 Import, export, interoperability Drawing DWG export: Export rules with rebar set object filtering rules work better now.
TTSD-37037 Import, export, interoperability Trimble Connector no longer consumes a Trimble Connect Business Premium license. Previously, a Trimble Connect Business Premium license was consumed, even though using Trimble Connector does not require this type of a licence. This prevented the use of the same license seat in Trimble Connect, so the user could not access the Trimble Connect features that were available for Business Premium users.
TTSD-37319 Import, export, interoperability Previously, republishing an IFC model with Trimble Connector was not possible. This has now been fixed.
TTSD-37406 Import, export, interoperability You can now convert IFC objects in ELITECAD models to Tekla Structures native objects.
TTSD-37466 Import, export, interoperability IFC2x3 export: Welds are now exported with solid colors.
TPLED-165 Templates and reports Template library now gives more descriptive conversion warning messages that show the component name and template filename.
TPLED-173 Templates and reports Template Editor: Previously, when the row sort type of a template was set to None, the row order could sometimes change. This has now been fixed.
TTSD-36696 Templates and reports Template Editor no longer crashes when you are dragging several lines and cancel by pressing the Esc key.
TTSD-36770 Templates and reports The ROW_IN_PAGE template attribute now works properly again.

TTSD-37364 Templates and reports The LOCKED_BY drawing attribute now returns the correct value.
TSAC-4080 Drawings Automated grid dimensioning in cast unit and assembly drawings now only places dimensions on grid lines where objects are placed.
TSAC-4191 Drawings Rebar group marking:  Rebar group marking now multiplies the number of rebar sets correctly in the marks.
TTSD-30350 Drawings Holding down Shift and dragging connection marks no longer moves the leader line start point to the view origin.
TTSD-31089 Drawings Previously, when you created a new multi-drawing, the merged reinforcement mesh marks could not show single mark content. This has now been fixed. However, existing multi-drawings created before this fix still show erroneous marks when opened in TS2019 or newer. You can fix the marks by splitting the erroneous merged marks and merging the single marks again.
TTSD-34615 Drawings Empty rows are no longer shown in the dimension associativity rule list.
TTSD-34642 Drawings

NUMBER_IN_DRAWING was not updated correctly in an associative note due to rebar set bars in the group type 'unknown'. This has now been fixed.

TTSD-35596 Drawings Using area selection now selects all objects in drawings, even when far away.
TTSD-35784 Drawings Some crashes with the message "dxkit.dll!dxs_deletesegment(dxksegment_s)" have been identified and fixed.
TTSD-36802 Drawings Sometimes you got duplicate marks to parts when adding marks manually through the context menu. This has now been fixed.
TTSD-37374 Drawings Previously, hatches were not shown for circles in drawings. This has now been fixed.
TTSD-13478 Tekla Model Sharing In some cases in Tekla Model Sharing, pour handling caused modifications to pours, which caused conflicts after the next read-in. This has now been fixed.
TTSD-35034 Tekla Model Sharing Previously in some cases, when a shared model was diagnosed and obsolete object modification rows were found, using the Repair model command did not solve the issue. This has now been fixed.
TTSD-36755 Tekla Model Sharing Previously, Tekla Structures occasionally crashed when you converted a multi-user model to a single-user model. This has now been fixed.
TTSD-36135 Reinforcement Previously, in IFC 2x3 Export, rebar set groups with group type 'unknown' were exported as a single group with a single GUID, when they should have been exported as individual bars with individual GUIDs. This has now been fixed.
TSAC-3975 Modeling In the Radial array tool, the box for defining spaces between the copies now adjusts to the size of the dialog box.
TSAC-4266 Modeling

In the Radial array tool, if the box for defining the number of angles or distances is empty, the tool now takes the number of copies from the space between copies box.

TTSD-30409 Modeling The XS_LINE_WIDTH advanced option is not in use anymore, and it has been removed from the Advanced options dialog box.
TTSD-35585 Modeling Sometimes, if pours were enabled in a model (XS_ENABLE_POUR_MANAGEMENT was set to TRUE), broken solids caused Tekla Structures to crash when opening the model. This has now been fixed so that Tekla Structures does not crash anymore.
TTSD-37136 Modeling Previously, when using a broken sketched profile in the model, Tekla Structures crashed. This has now been fixed so that the crash does not happen. Broken profiles are shown as sticks instead.
TTSD-37392 Modeling You can now import .lis catalog profiles with a numeric SUB_TYPE value.
TTSD-37491 Modeling In the Snapping toolbar, the list for selecting the snap depth (Auto/view plane) now works correctly.
TTSD-30326 User interface When changing the value of XS_VIEW_PART_LABEL_COLOR, you no longer need to restart Tekla Structures to activate the new value.
TTSD-37485 User interface When using DirectX rendering, software rendering is no longer forced in remote desktop connections. You can still use the XS_USE_SOFTWARE_RENDERING advanced option, if needed.
TSAC-4017 Import, export, interoperability (concrete) Export EliPLAN file (68): You can now add up to three comments at the start of exported files by selecting comment options in the Comment lists on the Data content tab. The options are No comment, Tekla Structures version, Model name, User name, and User-defined text. The comments are only for viewing the export file and will not be read in to EliPLAN.

TSAC-4333 Import, export, interoperability (concrete) Export Unitechnik (79): On the Reinforcement tab, you can now select how mesh wire levels are calculated by using the Mesh wire layer level setting. The options are Actual level, Highest level, Wire size, and Manual.
Actual level is the relative wire level in the model, Highest level means all wires in the layer are moved to the level of the wire with the highest z position, Wire size means that the relative level of the 2nd layer is written according to the wire size, and Manual means the 2nd layer wire level can be defined manually.
TSAC-4335 Import, export, interoperability (concrete) Export EliPLAN file (68): You can now specify which property Tag for lifters uses for recognizing lifting embeds. The default value (Default) still uses name or class. Additionally, a user-defined attribute (UDA), or a template attribute (Template) can be specified to use a specific property with a specific value to recognize lifters.
TSAC-4342, TSAC-4367 Import, export, interoperability (concrete)

Export Unitechnik (79): The following options have been added on the Reinforcement tab:

  •  A new Reinforcement export type option called Designated welded bars has been added. This option works in the same way as Fabrication of welded rebars, but you can use it with the Collect based on option to designate the rebars that will form main layers with reinforcement type 1 or 2, while the rebars remain as RODSTOCK depending on object type.
  • A new Reinforcement type option called Use 1, 2 and UDA has been added. When you select this option, the lowest rebar layer,  including all bars in the same direction, is exported with rebar type 1, and all other layers are exported as type 2.
