TSAC-138 Concrete components In Wall to wall connection and Wall groove seam detail, the connector and recess spacing now work properly when other than millimeter units are used.
TSAC-1656 Concrete components In Floor layout, an extra part was previously created at an opening. This has now been fixed.
TSAC-1684 Concrete components In Floor layout, the default/actual offsets of other layers than the primary layer now work properly also when other layers consist of multiple parts, and the offset is smaller than the offset of the primary layer.
Note that if you are modifying an existing Floor layout created with a previous Tekla Structures version, the layout may change if the offset values were not properly used earlier.
TSAC-1778 Concrete components In Wall layout, you can now again open the Wall layout opening dialog box from the contextual toolbar.
TSAC-1947 Concrete components In Hollow core lifting loops, the core filling was not created in the middle core if the number of cores was uneven, 5 or 7, for example. This has now been fixed.
TSAC-2004 Concrete components In Mesh bars, direct modification now works correctly so that the correct bar is moved when dragged.
TSAC-2152 Concrete components Previously, Floor layout updating was not working properly if the layout had a break line and the layout direction was from right to left. This has now been fixed.
TSAC-2213 Concrete components In Wall layout, with some layer components, the attribute setting was not updated when modifying, and the available attribute settings disappeared from the list of attribute settings. This has now been fixed.
TSAC-2231 Concrete components In Wall layout, when customizing the content of the UDA tab, you can now define in the WallLayout.Udas.dat file that layer UDA values are not swapped when the Wall layout swapper is used. You can do this by adding NoSwap at the end of the line (fourth field):

TSAC-2235 Concrete components In Wall layout, if there are more than 12 UDAs on the UDA tab in the Wall layout dialog box, an additional UDA(2) tab is now again created.
TSAC-2251 Concrete components Floor layout now creates additional tabs for user-defined attributes in the Floor layout dialog box if there are a lot of user-defined attributes. Earlier, if there were a lot of user-defined attributes, the row spacing on the User defined tab was compressed to fit all the attributes on one tab.
TSAC-797 Concrete components In Round column reinforcement (82), you can now select on the Advanced (main bars) tab whether to cut the created rebars by the cut in the father part or not.
TSAC-1459 Steel components In Shear plate tube column (189), the plate chamfer size now correctly follows the value defined in the component dialog box.
TSAC-1540 Steel components In Column with stiffeners W (182), the stiffener weld preparation now works properly.
TSAC-1875 Steel components In Column - 2 beam (14), there were previously issues when you created one plate and the bolts were placed incorrectly. This has now been fixed.
TSAC-2199 Steel components In Full depth S (185), you can now define the tab plate end cut on the Plates tab.
TSAC-2230 Steel components In Clip angle (141), weld 5 between the stiffener and the main part is now created correctly.
TSAC-2309 Steel components In Welded column with stiffeners (128), you can now turn on or off the weld preparation creation in the welds dialog box.
TSAC-2310 Steel components In Welded beam column (31), you can now turn on or off the weld preparation creation in the welds dialog box.
TSAC-2369 Steel components In Corner tube gusset (56), you can now separately control the bolt types of Brace bolts 1 and 2 on the gusset side and the bracing side.
TSAC-2418 Steel components In Turnbuckle connection (126), the main and the secondary part are now correctly fitted regardless their selection order.
TSAC-796 Steel components In Bent plate (151), the distances of bolts from the edge of the plate are now correctly applied.
TSAC-946 Steel components In Welded beam to beam (123), the bottom flange notch size is now correctly applied.
TTSD-12817 Import, export, interoperability The user-defined attributes added in Tekla Structural Designer are now imported to Tekla Structures with the same name, without the "TSD_" prefix, and they are truncated to 19 characters.
TTSD-14041 Import, export, interoperability Point cloud density issue with scaled point clouds has been fixed.
TTSD-15599 Import, export, interoperability In reference model change detection, the reference model rotation changes are now detected better.
TTSD-15682 Import, export, interoperability Spaces can now be used in IFC object conversion profile mapping. They are removed in internal mapping. For example, UB 356x171x45 finds UB 356x171x45, not UKB356x171x45, like previously.
TTSD-15953 Import, export, interoperability In IFC object conversion, WallStandardCase is again converted as panel. End joins are ignored and therefore the geometry is not always according to the original geometry.
TTSD-15992 Import, export, interoperability In DWG export, there is now a new check to see if files can be written to before the export starts. You are also prompted to close the files. If an exported file already exists, a dialog box is displayed asking if you want to overwrite the existing files.
TTSD-16610 Import, export, interoperability Trimble Connector no longer automatically shuts down at startup if you have no Trimble Connect Structural license.
TTSD-17672 Import, export, interoperability .db1 models can now be used as reference models again.
TTSD-19481 Import, export, interoperability The performance of locking and unlocking multiple reference models in the reference model list has been improved.
TTSD-19976 Import, export, interoperability In IFC import, handling of objects with a lot of openings was really slow, which appeared like Tekla Structures was not responding. This has now been fixed.
TTSD-20194 Import, export, interoperability Importing an empty model using the Import model command caused an application error. This no longer happens.
TTSD-20216 Import, export, interoperability With the IFC2x3 export using the Coordination  and Steel Fabrication model view definition, the beams and columns that have a fitting plane at both ends are shorter than in the model. The error does not occur when line cuts are used instead or only one fitting is used.  This has now been fixed.
TTSD-20249 Import, export, interoperability Inserted IFC object properties that used to be visible in inquire in previous versions are visible again, but categorized a bit differently.
TTSD-20456 Import, export, interoperability In DWG/DXF export, when adding, editing or deleting multiple rules, the buttons are now always visible. Previously they would not be visible with multiple rules if the list of rules was scrolled down.
TTSD-20988 Import, export, interoperability When you cancelled the drawing opening, opening the reference model side pane in certain moment caused freezing of the reference model side pane. This has now been fixed.
TTSD-21526 Import, export, interoperability Trimble Connector no longer logs out when it is closed.
TTSD-21654 Import, export, interoperability Tekla Structures sometimes closed itself without a warning when a point cloud was picked for dimension or object creation and zooming was done at the same time. This has now been fixed.
TTSD-22194 Import, export, interoperability DWG drawing export: DWG export file name does not have revision info added if the revision info is not present in the format string.
TTSD-7136 Import, export, interoperability Tekla Structures now shows a confirmation message when you delete shapes from the shape catalog.
TPLED-111 Templates and reports Tekla Structures no longer crashes with horizontal column output in templates.
TPLED-84 Templates and reports Rows are no longer overlapping when you use Right alignment.
TPLED-87 Templates and reports When the columns in a template had continuous horizontal fill, the rows and columns were misaligned. This has now been fixed
TPLED-97 Templates and reports Template Editor: The Extend command is working again.
TTSD-20733 Templates and reports Previously ASSEMBLY_BOTTOM_LEVEL_BASEPOINT, ASSEMBLY_BOTTOM_LEVEL_PROJECT, ASSEMBLY_TOP_LEVEL_BASEPOINT, ASSEMBLY_TOP_LEVEL_PROJECT were showing wrong values. Now correct values are shown.
TTSD-21637 Templates and reports Radius symbols in rebar pull-out pictures in reports were sometimes incorrectly drawn after opening drawing, but correct after refreshing the report. This has now been fixed.
TTSD-4186 Templates and reports Previously, part attributes starting with ASSEMLBY_TOP_LEVEL and ASSEMLBY_BOTTOM_LEVEL were not returning correct values. This has now been fixed, and the attributes are returning the values provided by the counterparts in ASSEMBLY. attributes.
TPLED-93 Drawings Added new string function, called replace, for rules and valuefield formulas. This function replaces all specified substrings with another string.
TSAC-1819 Drawings

When you open a drawing that contains pattern lines, and the .clp file of a pattern line is missing, a report window will be displayed. The report will contain a list with the name of each pattern line that does not have a related .clp file.

TSAC-2195 Drawings Rebar group dimensioning: Now you can define the space between Mark1 and Mark2 using the new setting Space between Mark1 and Mark2 on the Advanced settings tab.
On the same tab, Next mark spacing was moved under the new area Grouping and renamed to Group mark spacing.
Rebar group tolerance was also moved to the Grouping area and renamed to Grouping tolerance.
TSAC-2255 Drawings Rebar group dimensioning: The extra marks are now positioned correctly.
TSAC-2291 Drawings Rebar group dimensioning: The tool now adds a correct number of dimension lines, and the lines are aligned correctly.
TSAC-2375 Drawings Pattern line editor saves the default color correctly in the created .clp file, so the pattern line color can be modified.
TSAC-2389 Drawings Rebar group dimensioning: The beam type pad footing dimensioning is working again.
TSAC-2400 Drawings Rebar group dimensioning: The order of mark content elements is now correct in all use cases. The fix also applies to extra marks.
TTSD-10813 Drawings When cloning single part, assembly or cast unit drawings, if the cloning template had views which were aligned in X or Y axis at the center of gravity point, the resulting cloned drawing will now try to align matching views based on the center of gravity.
TTSD-15941 Drawings

Drawing section views are now resized to include all view contents, for example, when an associative note is added so that text part is positioned outside the section view.

TTSD-17987 Drawings Sometimes, the dimension line was drawn incorrectly between the dimension points. This has now been fixed.
TTSD-18742 Drawings Views in assembly drawings that contain included single-part views are no longer overlapping after the Arrange views command.
TTSD-19304 Drawings If a dimension that did not have the << Mark >> tag but had some properties set in the tag attributes, changing the dimension via the contextual toolbar was adding an unwanted tag mark to the dimension. This has now been fixed.
TTSD-19317 Drawings In Document Manager, the drawing export command did not work when the advanced option XS_USE_OLD_DRAWING_EXPORT was set to TRUE. This has now been fixed.
TTSD-19359 Drawings Dimension arrows indicating a change in the model object extremes are no longer exported.
TTSD-19579 Drawings In Tekla Structures version 2018, scrolling with the middle mouse button while editing some drawings sometimes caused a Tekla Structures application error. This has now been fixed.
TTSD-19630 Drawings In Document manager, the Title1 column now sorts correctly in the same way as the Drawing list sorted that column.
TTSD-19690, TTSD-18337 Drawings When a point was removed from a dimension set, pin icons on the remaining dimension points could incorrectly show that the points are no longer associative by changing to question marks, while the points still were associative. This has now been fixed.
TTSD-19878 Drawings Marks are now correctly sorted in Document manager by taking the alphabetic and numeric components of the mark into account in the same way as in the Drawing List.
TTSD-19954 Drawings Category search field tooltip for new category no longer starts with several blank lines.
TTSD-20020 Drawings The Clone button is now always visible in Document Manager even if no drawing is selected. Previously the button was hidden.
TTSD-20204 Drawings In some cases, an assert was caused by a missing symbol library. This has been fixed, and an error message is displayed instead.
TTSD-20209 Drawings Tekla Structures crashed when you changed the ruler width of a text with handle. This has now been fixed.
TTSD-20285 Drawings Adding or updating drawing mesh marks of outline meshes sometimes rotated the marks 90 degrees. This has now been fixed.
TTSD-20407 Drawings Opening of some drawings could sometimes fail. This has now been fixed.
TTSD-21293 Drawings When converting a model to a multi user model or reading in a shared model, a model reload occurs and Document Manager was clearing the currently selected documents which caused buttons such as Print, and Export to become hidden. Now the currently selected documents are remembered and the selection is maintained.
TTSD-21540 Drawings Some drawing commands did not use correct info in Undo history. This has now been fixed.
TTSD-21541 Drawings The Arrange marks and Align marks commands did not use correct information in Undo history. This has now been fixed.
TTSD-21607 Drawings When converting a model to a multi user model or reading in a shared model, a model reload occurs and Document Manager was clearing the currently selected documents which caused buttons like Print, Export etc., to become hidden. Now the currently selected documents are remembered and the selection is maintained.
TTSD-21616 Drawings Slanted symbols are now correctly printed and exported.
TTSD-22227 Drawings Non-solid items are now shown correctly in drawings also when they are clipped with the view restriction box.

TTSD-18263 Tekla Model Sharing In Tekla Model Sharing, the plotdev.bin file is now shared.
TTSD-18318 Tekla Model Sharing Previously, Tekla Structures occasionally crashed in certain Tekla Model Sharing situations, with warning messages about an unknown user. This has now been fixed.
TTSD-19701 Tekla Model Sharing When joining a shared model, Tekla Model Sharing now checks if the current system locale is compatible with the system locale that was used when the model was shared. This check helps to avoid issues when distributed teams are using the model. Tekla Structures is not a fully Unicode application and it may function incorrectly when a shared model is opened with a system locale that is incompatible with the one that was used when starting to share the model.
TTSD-21393 Tekla Model Sharing With some reference models, the changes list in a shared model could open very slowly. This has now been fixed.
TTSD-21567 Tekla Model Sharing In Tekla Model Sharing, profiles with a .clb file as a subtype were not previously shared correctly. This has now been fixed.
TTSD-6851 Tekla Model Sharing Saving of shared models is now more robust than before in situations where antivirus and similar software put temporary locks on model files. Failed operations are retried and written in error logs.
TSAC-1783 Reinforcement Previously, the curve width/height of a curved bar with hooks was not correct in Rebar shape manager (and reports, if used). This has now been fixed.
TSAC-2156 Reinforcement Previously, Rebar shape placing tool did not create the distances correctly when other than millimeter units were used. This has now been fixed.
TTSD-15116 Modeling When using orthogonal snapping, the snap points are now shown with perpendicular snap symbols.
TTSD-16464 Modeling Modifying the phase of objects now redraws the objects in the correct color when the Color by phase option is used in the object representation settings. Previously, the color of the objects did not change when modifying the phase.
TTSD-17047 Modeling The silhouette edges are drawn correctly again for high accuracy hollow profiles when XS_DISPLAY_FILLET_EDGES is set to FALSE.
TTSD-17093 Modeling In the property pane, you can now save and load bolt assembly property files that only contain the bolt but no other parts in the assembly.
Note that if you select or clear the Bolt check box in the bolt assembly properties, the check boxes for Washers and first Nut properties are also selected or cleared, as in the old bolt properties dialog box.
TTSD-18600 Modeling When saving the model with Save as, the model name is now restricted to 40 characters, like when creating a new model. The last 10 model paths are not shown in the Save as dialog box.
TTSD-18964 Modeling When you set XS_AISC_WELD_MARK to FALSE, you can now control how the fillet weld size is interpreted using the new XS_ISO_LEG_LENGTH_AS_WELDSIZE advanced option.
Set XS_ISO_LEG_LENGTH_AS_WELDSIZE to:
  • TRUE to use the weld size as the leg length of the fillet welds
  • FALSE to use the weld size as the throat thickness of the fillet welds
Note that setting a weld prefix that affects the weld size overrides the value set in XS_ISO_LEG_LENGTH_AS_WELDSIZE.
TTSD-19562 Modeling Filtering assemblies by user-defined attributes now again searches attributes from the assembly's main part.
TTSD-19845 Modeling Previously, splitting and combining parts was not working for all parts. This has now been fixed.
TTSD-20604 Modeling The saving of multi-user models has been improved to work more reliably.
TTSD-20700 Modeling Previously, saving the model with Save as failed in some situations and Tekla Structures displayed the message Model memory is corrupted. This has now been fixed.
TTSD-20921 Modeling Filtering reinforcing bars by using 'length' now works correctly again.
TTSD-21481 Modeling Previously, selecting two bolts and right-clicking caused Tekla Structures to crash. This happened when the first part you had selected was a cast-in-place part. This has now been fixed.
TTSD-21482 Modeling Previously, if you left Tekla Structures idle for a while, in some cases Tekla Structures could freeze or crash. This has now been improved.
TTSD-22524 Modeling Previously, when the Ortho tool was active, the snapping distances were incorrectly rounded. This has now been fixed.
SOLD-783 Licensing When starting Tekla Structures for the first time, and the license server has not been defined, the waiting time has been significantly reduced from around 3 minutes down to about 30 seconds.
TTSD-22408 Installation You can now uninstall several .tsep packages at one go in Extension manager. Previously, you could uninstall one .tsep package at a time.
TTSD-13158 Analysis and design Previously, slab and panel hole analysis node positions were not created in the correct plane. This has now been fixed.
TTSD-19862 Analysis and design Split nodes are now created correctly in situations where the analysis part positions change in analysis model creation.
TTSD-19916 Analysis and design Concrete panel analysis connectivity has now been improved.
TTSD-22080 Analysis and design In a Tekla Model Sharing model, when you read in changes that included an analysis model, and an autosaved model was created after read in and the model then reopened without saving, the analysis model could sometimes be lost. This has now been fixed.
TTSD-22656 Analysis and design Previously, when a user had created an analysis model in a multi-user model and another user saved the model, this new analysis model was not visible for either user in the Analysis & Design Model dialog box. This has now been fixed.
TSAC-2485 Core The Dimensioning Rule Properties dialog box had many texts that were not translated but showed the string ID albl_... This has now been fixed.
TTSD-19981 Core When you tried to change the advanced option XS_​DRAWING_​PLOT_​FILE_​NAME_​W in Russian language, Tekla Structures crashed. This has now been fixed.
TSAC-2268 Tools and components In Rebar shape manager, it was not possible to include any of the ‘Leg to leg’ (D1:2), ‘Along leg’ (K3:1) nor ‘Off from leg’ (H3:1) distances in a rule formula. The formula value was not correctly evaluated and thus the rule result was never true and the OK button was not enabled. This has now been fixed.
TSAC-2312 Tools and components In CMF Horizontal cladding support - column (33), you can now use the Gauge setting on the Parameters tab to change the gauge of the COJR strut created by this component.
TSAC-2331 Tools and components In Kingspan Cold rolled sleeved (28), the UK firewall option now correctly positions the bolts and slotted holes on both rails/purlins on a double sided connection.
TSAC-932 Tools and components In Radial array tool, angle values with decimals are now supported in regional settings.
TTSD-18588 Tools and components Custom components containing system components were not correctly created when creating several custom components within one command sequence. This has now been fixed.
TTSD-19715 Tools and components Previously, closing Tekla Structures after model loading failed could cause Tekla Structures to crash. This has now been fixed.
TTSD-20327 Tools and components The execution time of custom components that use property files has been optimized.
TTSD-20007 Numbering When you use standard-part models in numbering, the standard parts now get the start number of the oldest standard part in the actual project model, instead of a random number.
The start number cannot be used to divide identical standard parts in groups, as the parts all get the same part position, prefix, and start number.
TTSD-22146 Numbering Tekla Structures no longer crashes when renumbering objects.
TTSD-13217 User interface When copying properties in the property pane, the check marks of the properties that you are copying now stay selected.
TTSD-19192 User interface In some cases, copying properties in the property pane did not work. This has now been fixed.
TTSD-19949 User interface The bolt group distance x and distance y settings in the property pane are now properly updated when loading a property file.

 Copy properties command in the property pane now works properly when you float the property pane and restart Tekla Structures.

TTSD-20802 User interface Several fixes have been made to DirectX graphics including improved performance for the shaded wireframe (Ctrl/Shift+2) view mode.
TTSD-20918 User interface Previously, saving the model with Save as could cause Tekla Structures to crash and restart instead of exiting. This has now been fixed.
TTSD-21403 User interface The cast unit numbering series in the concrete part property pane is now shown as dimmed if it is changed in the cast unit level.
TTSD-22164 User interface All virtual stud UDAs for steel beams are now available in the property pane in the US imperial environment.
TTSD-22618 User interface Previously, if you used ft (decimal) length units and selected a bolt group, the property pane could be empty. Also, if you changed the unit setting to use ft (decimal) while the property pane was open, Tekla Structures sometimes crashed. Now the property pane properly shows the properties of the bolts.
TTSD-21256 Import, export, interoperability (steel) NC: Sometimes, the pop-marks for middle line were not created. This has now been fixed.
TSAC-1228 Import, export, interoperability (concrete) Export Unitechnik (79): The export now automatically recognizes and exports the gap width value between sandwich panel shells.
TSAC-1231 Import, export, interoperability (concrete) Export Unitechnik (79): Coordinate system and scanned geometry is now drawn with simple lines instead of construction lines that where stored in model database.
TSAC-1976 Import, export, interoperability (concrete) Export Unitechnik  (79): You can now specify if uncollected reinforcement is excluded using the new option Collected for the setting Rebars export on the Reinforcement tab.
TSAC-2075 Import, export, interoperability (concrete) Export Unitechnik (79): The setting Bent reinf. as unfolded on the Reinforcement tab now has a new option Only meshes. Using this option you can export bent meshes as unfolded, while other bent reinforcement is exported as bent.
TSAC-2142 Import, export, interoperability (concrete) Export Unitechnik (79): The width of embeds created as B-rep items is now exported correctly.
TSAC-2210 Import, export, interoperability (concrete) Export Unitechnik (79): Rebar groups that have been collected to meshes are now correctly unfolded.
TSAC-2260 Import, export, interoperability (concrete) Export Unitechnik  (79): Electric tubes are now always exported with Z position as Z=0.
TSAC-2261 Import, export, interoperability (concrete) BVBS Export: Circular and spiral rebars had incorrect spacing values. This has now been fixed.
TSAC-2304 Import, export, interoperability (concrete) Export Unitechnik (79): Line attributes export has been improved for double wall 2nd shell.
TSAC-2390 Import, export, interoperability (concrete) Export Unitechnik (79): Production thicknesses of double wall shells are now calculated so that the 1st shell thickness reports sub-assembly thickness including braced girders, and the 2nd shell reports complete cast unit thickness regardless of the chosen dialog box option.  This is to ensure that the production thickness values comply with the curing chamber slot maximum height.
TSAC-2446 Import, export, interoperability (concrete) BVBS Export: When multiple segments of rebar are in 0-degree bendings then is exported as the continuous straight section.
TSAC-2450 Import, export, interoperability (concrete) BVBS Export: The user-defined bending roll diameter can now be controlled with the BVBS_BENDING_ROLL UDA.
TSAC-2470 Import, export, interoperability (concrete) Export Unitechnik (79): Previously, when a double wall shell was created from more than one part and the Cut outer assemblies option was switched on, the embeds in the secondary part were missing from the export with certain Export Groups settings. This has now been fixed.
