Custom Attributes

Few attributes are available in model but cannot be called in reports. This extension installs a set of new variables & which allows to use them wherever it is required such as in reports, marks as templates, drawings, API, filtering, object representationrepresentation of a model object or an object group in a model view that is based on the color and transparency settings applied to the model object or the object group, etc.

  • Draw Rebar Pullouts (DR003)

Rebar pullout picture and marking

Use for: Visualization of rebars by using bending shapes. Bending shapes can be positioned both inside and outside the concrete shape. Bending shapes are also provided with marks including information about the rebar.  Examples:

I-Beam Reinforcement

The I-Beam Reinforcement plugincomponent that is developed using Tekla Open APIPlugin is a .dll file and loaded inside Tekla Structures process.Plugins can be started from the applications and components catalog. can be used to easily reinforce an I-Beam with bend meshes in top and bottom flange, stem meshes,u-bars in top flange and longitudinal bars along the beam. An example of a beam can be seen below.

I-Beam Reinforcement: Picture tab

Use the Picture tab to define types of reinforcing bars and their cover thickness from the IBeam front viewdefault view that is created using the part’s or component’s coordinate system and that shows the part or component from the front directionPart’s front view is a view on part plane created of the part’s front plane..

I-Beam Reinforcement: Stem mesh tab

Use the Stem meshreinforcement that represents a mesh of steel bars in two perpendicular directionsIn Tekla Structures, the reinforcement mesh bars in one direction are called main bars and reinforcement mesh bars perpendicular to them are called crossing bars. tab to define meshes in the I-Beam stem.

I-Beam Reinforcement: Top flange tab

Use the Top flange tab to define the meshes in the top flange of the I-Beam. SymmetricThe user can define if the zones will be symmetrical or not.If the user selects symmetrical = Yes, then the zone 1 = zone 5 and zone 2 = zone 4.Zone 4 and zone 5 will be grayed out.
