The error message "Warning: no suitable reference sub object found for id" may appear in the log, if you have inserted a reference model and then changed the reference model to a complete different reference model or deleted the reference model file. The time when these prints appear (model opening, setting visible, view opening or something else) may vary.
With the following report you can select the problematic reference object in the model and check which reference model it applies to. When you select a line in a report, the corresponding object is selected in the model and with right-click you can select either Properties or Inquire from the pop-up menu and get more information about the reference object. Note that when using the report you should have Show report set to On dialog.
