Question:
How does the weld preparation command works?
Answer:
1. First you need to create a cutting part to the location where you want the weld preparation. For example a profile PL20*20, rotated 45 degrees.
2. On the Steel tab, click Weld > Prepare part for welding with another part
3. Select the part to be weld-prepared (gray beam).
4. Select the cutting part (green part).
5. The results you can see below. The command is much similar to part cut, but additionally this command automatically deletes the cutting part.
