Error: Unable to uninstall Tekla Structures/Environments/Extensions.
Error: 1714. The older version of Tekla Structures 21.0 Default Env 5.0 cannot be removed. Contact your technical support group.
Error: 1606, Could not access network location \18.1
Reason: You may receive an error while you are attempting to uninstall or reinstall a program when some of its components of the previous installation are not correctly removed from the control panel.
This could be a result of having corrupted installation of product, removing the original installation image or having some changes on the drive.
Solution:
1. From Microsoft support page, download the "Fix it" Solution: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/mats/program_install_and_uninstall
2. Allow the program to run and accept the Fix it pop-up Window (Terms and Conditions) to start installation.
3. Select: “ Detect problems and let me select the fixes to apply”.
4. Select either "Uninstalling" or "Installing" , depends on the problem that you are trying to solve.
5. Once the problems detected, you can choose from the list which product you want to uninstall/install and click NEXT.
6. When finished, a verifying fix window will be displayed and you can check also the report details of the applied fix.
