Question: License Administration Tool doesn’t find network locations for example when looking for the License Entitlement file.
Answer: This is caused by Windows User Account Control (UAC). Programs may not be able to access some network locations when Windows UAC is enabled. This problem occurs because UAC treats members of the Administrators group as standard users. Therefore, network shares that are mapped by logon scripts are shared with the standard user access token instead of with the full administrator access token.
To work around this problem, configure the EnableLinkedConnections registry value as described in this article on Microsoft’s support portal.
