Incorrect gage value in NC files of angles with slotted holes

Question:
When slotted holes are used, the gage value is not shown correctly in the Peddimat. If I change the option A single hole in the center of the slot on the Holes and Cuts tab of the NC file, it shows the correct gage. But in this case slot information is not correctly shown in the NC file.

Answer:
Bolts with slotted holes are defined using the start point of the slotted hole in the NC file, not the center point. See the image below. The NC file point + 1/2 length of the slot in the slotted direction should be the same as the center point in drawings. As a workaround, use the option A single hole in the center of the slot… on the Holes and Cuts tab in the NC File Settings dialog box.
