Opened Tekla for the first time and profiles are not showing

I opened Tekla for the first time, and there are not any profiles.

Question: I opened Tekla for the first time, and there are no profiles, material grades, or bolts in the catalogs. Why is this happening?

Answer: You are most likely in the environment called "blank projectTekla Structures environment that contains only generic content and is used as a basis for customized environments

The blank project contains, for example, parametric profiles and undefined materials, and it can be used for gathering region-, company-, or project-specific settings, tools, and information. The blank project comes with Tekla Structures software installation.

Tekla Warehouse can be used to download content to a blank project.

." This environment is set up for users who already have their own fully customized catalogs. You will need to get an environment from our download center here.

If you are a new user and do not know which environment to get, you would get the environment that fits the region/ country your work is done in (and the version of Tekla Structures that you are using). For example, if your work is done in the US you would want to get the US Imperial and US Metric environments for versions before 2019, or the USA Environment for subsequent versions. See below:
