How to model bolts or holes on a radius
This article will guide you through modeling in bolts or holes on a radius member in Tekla
Modeling the bolts or holes
There are many different methods. In this article, one easy and effective method is introduced.First, open a plan view of our radius member like in the image below. It is best to also create a construction circle or atleast a point at the center of the radius to make this process easier and to create a radius member accurately.

Next we model in a single bolt in the same direction that the radius is rolled. You do not have to follow the radius, instead you can turn on your orthogonal and track towards a perpendicular point and enter 1 inch as the value:

Now that we have a bolt we need to make some adjustments to get in the right orientation and location:

To get the bolts along the radius we copy the points. The points are also needed to determine the correct angle to use.
In the image below I utilize points to get the value I need because the bolts need to be spaced at 2'-0" on center.

Now you should have a point created along the radius. Use the Measure Angle tool to find the angle of the three points (origin, start of member, new point).

Finally, we copy the bolts across the angle:
