Question:
After installing Tekla Structures and environments, I get the error message “Error opening file: origo_box.dwg“ when I start a command in Tekla Structures.

What does this mean and what should I do to fix the problem?
Answer:
The error you get is typically caused by the fact that the installation of the common environment has failed. The origo_box.dwg file is by default installed to the folder:
C:\ProgramData\Tekla Structures\<version>\Environments\Common\symbols
If you cannot find the origo_box.dwg file in this folder, your installation hasn’t been finished.
To fix the situation, please uninstall Tekla Structures and the environments and re-install both the software and the environments you are using.
In case you install Tekla Structures to a network drive, please also check that users have permissions to the necessary folders on the network drive.
