CouldNotSaveModel01.jpg

Could not save model. Possible reasons are:
- Disk is full or write protected
- locked .tmp file(s) exist in the model directory

This error message can appear if you have tried to save a multi-user model to a computer or folder that you could not access.

Possible solutions:

  • Check that you have permission to write to the model folder.
  • Check that there is enough disk space to save the model.
  • Restart the server where you want to save the model. Then try to save the model again.
  • Delete the .tmp files from the model directory.

Unable to save the model. Check the log file for details.

If you see the above error message in a Tekla Model Sharing model, the reason might be conflicting deleted reference model data in the /datastorage/ref folder that is preventing saving. The error message in the latest error log in the logs folder is in this case "Save:RefModelInternalStorage failed".

This error is fixed in the following Tekla Structures versions: 2019 SP11, 2019i SP10, 2020 SP9, 2021 SP2. If the error still occurs, or if you are using older versions, contact your local support for more instructions.
