Question:
What does the error message: "Cannot find center point for chamfer" mean?

Answer:
This error message means that at least one chamfer has illegal parameters. This happens when the chamfer type is either Rounding or Arc point, and the center of the curvature cannot be calculated. This may occur, for example, because three points are on the same line and the middle point is chamfered. The error message is shown during numbering and also when a chamfer is created. To correct this error, search for the problematic chamfer in the model and try to give different radius values, or try to move the chamfer point to a different location.

You can find the polybeam containing the problematic chamfer when you open the File > Logs > Session history log and select the line with the error, then the corresponding part gets selected in the model and you can for example right-click and select Zoom > Zoom selected to find it:
