Solibri

Solibri Inc., develops and markets Quality Assurance solutions to allow model checking and coordination for Building Information Modeling systems. The company has its headquarters in Helsinki, Finland.

They have four main products - Solibri Model Checker; Solibri Model Viewer; Solibri IFC Optimizer and Solibri Issue Locator

Solibri Model Checker is an application that analyses BIM models for integrity, quality and physical safety. It also included information takeoffs or reports.

Solibri Model Viewer is a free applications for viewing multiple ifc and Solibri Model Checker files. It works on both the Windows and Macintosh platforms.

Solibri IFC Optimizer is a free tool for optimizing and compressing standard IFC files.

Solibri Issue Locator lets a BIM tool user access the issue list directly for other products such as ArchiCAD. IFC files can be exported from Tekla Structures and imported into the Solibri Model Checker.

There is also a seperate application that is available for Tekla Structures version 16.0 that uses the BIM Collaboration Format (BCF) to transfer further information such as, issues, scenes, etc. between different BIM software.

BCF file structure
A BCF file is a zip file containing one folder for each topic. The folder name is the GUID of the topic and is in the UUID form. The folder contains the following files:

•   markup.bcf - An XML file following the markup.xsd schema that is described below.
•   viewpoint.bcfv - An XML file following the visinfo.xsd schema that is   described below.
•   snapshot.png - A snapshot related to the topic.

The elements in the XML files must appear in the order given in the schemas.
