S77 Bracket
CATALOG NAME: S77 Bracket v2
TYPE: SEAM
This Custom Component was created to use with Railings S77 (not to be used manually). Using S77, a grab rail can be created and this bracket can be used to connect the grab rail to the stanchions.

Bracket Orientation Options
Type 1 - Parallel to Stanchion (this option should not be used in sloping conditions if rail is a Polybeam)
Type 2 - Perpendicular to Rail (this option should not be used in sloping conditions if rail is a Polybeam)
Type 3 - Perpendicular to Polybeam Rail (using this option in sloping conditions when rail is a Polybeam)
Type 4 - Parrallel to Stanchion - Polybeam Rail (using this option in sloping conditions when rail is a Polybeam)
Bracket Side Options
Type 1 - Rail is Left Side (use this option when rail is on the left side of the stair or ramp as you go upwards)
Type 2 - Rail is Right Side (use this option when rail is on the right side of the stair or ramp as you go upwards)
Examples:
Using Parallel to Stanchion & Rail is Left Side options.
Using Perpendicular to Rail & Rail is Left Side options.
Using Perpendicular to Polybeam Rail & Rail is Left Side options.
Using Parallel to Stanchion - Polybeam Rail & Rail is Left Side options.
Issues To Watch For
When the railing is a Polybeam, the brackets will be oriented and located correctly along the slope of the Polybeam rail, but not at the horizontal conditions like the landings. Depending on which Bracket Orientation option you used, the landing result will look like one of these.
Result at landing when Perpendicular to Polybeam Rail option is used.
Result at landing when Parallel to Stanchion - Polybeam Rail option is used.
How to Correct Issues?
You will need to select that components symbol and double-click on it to open its dialog box. Then modify the component using any of these 3 examples.
Change Bracket Orientation option to Parallel to Stanchion.
Change Bracket Orientation option to Perpendicular to Rail.
Change the Degrees value for the angle of the railing to 0 Degrees.
This Custom Component can be used inside System Component S77 on the Middle Rails tab by loading in this Grab_Rail attribute or any other attribute you save inside this component.
