A component to easily and quickly add discontinuous bracing to a transmission tower.System requirements
Tekla Structures.Using [extension]
To use the component:- From the component catalog select the Discontinuous_Bracing component.

| Options to specify the bracing spacing dimensions. All dimensions are along the leg. |

| The Leg Gauge Line dimensions of the profiles are read automatically from the GaugeLines.dat file (in the model, firm or system folder). These can be over written by the user if necessary. |

| Options to offset the brace ends along the legs. |
Offset | Option to offset the bracing from the leg face. |

| Option to show additional construction lines in the model on the Gauge line of the legs. |

| Option to specify the type and orientation of horizontal brace. The component is expecting an equal L profile or a U profile, any other profile with give incorrect results. |

| Option to specify the bracing profile. The component is expecting equal L profiles and will not give the correct results with unequal profiles or other profile shapes. The Option to specify a U profile is inactive until the U option is selected (see above) |

- The Component direction must be set according to the directions shown in the dialog before applying
