Macros are located in the applications and components catalog. They are recorded or created manually and stored as .cs file in a folder defined with the advanced option XS_MACRO_DIRECTORY.
Macros can, for example, be used for creating drawings or reports.
Macros are sometimes used to run an application.
|Anti-Sag Assm||This currently specifies the assembly to be used for the eaves brace created by this macro. To override use the Pos_No values featured below.|
|Lower Eaves Brace Assm||This currently has no effect.|
|Eaves Brace Assm||This currently has no effect.|
|Diagonal Tie Assm||This specifies the assembly to be used for the diagonal tie wires. To override use the Pos_No values featured below.|
|Options t, b, h||The thickness, width and height cannot be amended.|

|The assembly position number consists of a prefix and a start number.
2. Start number
|The assembly position number defined in the connection dialog box overrides the settings defined in the components settings in File menu --> Settings --> Options.|
|Material||This is the material grade that will be used for all the parts in this macro.||The default value for this is taken from ‘Setup Preferences: Joint part material’|
|Name||The profile name cannot be amended.|
