The parts that are listed in a log file can be viewed in the model.

Open the model whose log history you want view.

On the
File menu, click
Logs and select a log file you want to see.

In the log file, select a row which contains a part or an assembly.
Parts and assemblies have the prefix
guid
.
Tekla Structures highlights the part in the model. If there are several parts or assemblies on a row and you select that row,
Tekla Structures highlights all the parts in the model. You can also select parts on different rows.

If you want to view the log files in a viewer that has been associated with the file type, for example, in Microsoft Notepad, on the
File menu click
Logs and select
View with the default application.
Tip:
You can access a part’s or an assembly’s pop-up menu from the log file by right-clicking a row that contains a part or an assembly.
Tekla Structures displays the same pop-up menu as when you right-click a part or an assembly in the model.
