Show part openings and recesses in drawings
You can select whether you want to show symbols for part openings and recesses (blind holes) in drawing views.
By default, Tekla Structures displays openings and recesses in the following way:

Add symbols in openings and recesses
Tekla Structures has some advanced options that you can use for adding symbols in openings and recesses in your drawings.
- On the File menu, click and go to Drawing Properties.
- Set the advanced option
XS_USE_CROSS_FOR_OPENING_SYMBOL
toFALSE
to show the openings and recesses as follows: - Set
XS_USE_OPENING_SYMBOL_IN_BORDER_HOLES
toTRUE
to show opening/recess symbols in openings located at part borders. This advanced option is by default set toFALSE
. The symbol used depends on the setting of the advanced optionXS_USE_CROSS_FOR_OPENING_SYMBOL
