Marking: Parts

Use this advanced option to define the minimum length of a leader lineline that connects an annotation object to the related object or point

that Tekla Structures draws. If the leader line is shorter that the minimum length and the advanced option XS_DRAW_SHORT_LEADER_LINES_OF_PART_MARKS is set to FALSE , the leader line is not drawn. The default value is 0.0. If the advanced option XS_DRAW_SHORT_LEADER_LINES_OF_PART_MARKS_MINIMUM_LENGTH is set to TRUE , the part markmark that includes a set of selected property elements related to a part

Part marks are made use of, for example, when identifying constructions, when giving information about welding, when giving information about assemblies to a workshop, when giving information about how parts should be connected to each other, and when creating bills of quantities.

In the US, the term piece mark is used to refer to position number.

This advanced option is model specific and the setting is saved in the options databasedatabase file that contains the settings of model-specific general settings and advanced options

There are two options databases, the model options database (options_model.db) and the drawing options database (options_drawings.db).
