Limitations

  • To fully configure a stair use the properties from the side pane and the DM platform from the model.
  • In General properties Step dimension drop down list is available only for HTR and TRN options.
  • In General properties Step dimension list set on Exact option, will disable formula type parameter boxes. You can edit those parameters in the model through the DM platform dimensions.
  • In General properties Formula type list set on HTR option and Step dimension list set on Equal, the R value is the maximum rise of the steps.
  • To open the Landing - Bottom properties click in the model on one of the bottom landing objects.
  • To open Steps - bottom or Steps - Top properties click in the model on the bottom or top step.
  • Connection properties have no DM dimensions.
  • Publish the Straight Staircase from Applications & components is not available.
  • Can not create a straight staircase by picking the top insertion point first.
  • Hard to configure the straight staircase through the DM platform in perspective mode.
  • For Custom component step type, brackets does not follow the steps in some cases.
  • Handles not swapped
    Image
    straight_staircase_not_swap_handles.png
    or Handles swapped
    Image
    straight_staircase_swap_handles.png
buttons swap position for all Custom component or Item step types.
  • Stringer measurement type
    Image
    straight_staircase_stringer_measurement_ext.png
button has no effect for the following stringer profile types: SHS, Circular hollow sections, P, D, ELD, ROD or HAT.
